Remove and replace the Blower Assembly.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), 2005 model year Scion tC Repair Manual,

Install A/C Filter Information Label.

A.

Open glove box and remove any dust or debris from the interior of the glove box door.

B.

Remove backing from air conditioning filter information label and adhere to glove box as shown in Figure 4.

Checking and Replacing the Air Conditioning Filter

The air conditioning filter may need to be replaced if the air flow of the air conditioner and heater experience reductions in operating efficiency, or if the
windows begin to fog up easily.

To maintain air conditioning efficiency, inspect and replace the air conditioning filter every 30,000 miles or 36 months. In dusty areas or areas with
heavy traffic flow, more frequent replacement may be required.
