5. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

a. Remove the vinyl tape attached to the hose and condenser.
b. Apply a sufficient amount of compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the compressor.

Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 equivalent

c. Install the O-ring on the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
d. Connect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose on the compressor with the bolt.

Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

6. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
7. ADJUST FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

a. Perform initialization.

NOTE:  Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

10. CHARGE REFRIGERANT
11. WARM UP ENGINE
12. CHECK FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT
