(a) Install the rear shock absorber cushion retainer.

NOTICE:  Be sure to install the rear shock absorber cushion retainer in the correct direction.

(b) Using a socket hexagon wrench (6 mm), secure the rear shock absorber assembly and tighten the lock nut.

Torque: 25 Nm (255 kgf-cm, 18 ft-lbf)

5. INSTALL REAR WHEELS

Torque: 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

6. STABILIZE SUSPENSION

(a) Lower the vehicle and bounce it up and down several times to stabilize the rear suspension.

7. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

(a) Tighten the bolt on the rear shock absorber (lower side).

Torque: 90 Nm (918 kgf-cm, 67 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:  Since the stopper nut is used, tighten the bolt.

8. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
