EXTERIOR: NAME PLATE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

(a) Apply protective tape to the engine hood in the area around the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

(b) Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.
(c) Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
(d) Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem to the vehicle body.

NOTICE:
-

If reusing the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem, take care not to damage the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(e) Remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

2. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM

(a) Apply protective tape to the back door panel in the area around the symbol emblem.

(b) Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and symbol emblem.
(c) Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
(d) Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the symbol emblem to the vehicle body.

NOTICE:
-

If reusing the symbol emblem, take care not to damage the symbol emblem.

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(e) Remove the symbol emblem.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

(a) Apply protective tape to the back door panel in the area around the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

(b) Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.
(c) Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
(d) Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate to the vehicle body.

NOTICE:
-

If reusing the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate, take care not to damage the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
