Removal

INTERIOR: ROOF HEADLINING: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag
system before servicing  See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the deck board assembly.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT LEG COVER RH See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for RH Side)/Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for LH Side)/Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for LH Side)/Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for RH Side)/Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for LH Side)/Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) Disengage the 8 claws and remove the front door scuff plate.

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

HINT: Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
