Removal

2ZR-FE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Coolant/Service and Repair

2. REMOVE WATER INLET

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and separate the water inlet with radiator hose from the cylinder block.

3. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

(a) Remove the thermostat from the cylinder block.
(b) Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
