REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair

6. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER See: Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Removal

7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

Body/Service and Repair/Removal

8. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE HARNESS See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and

Repair/Removal

9. REMOVE HARNESS BRACKET See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal

10. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL VAPOR FEED HOSE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and

11. DISCONNECT VACUUM HOSE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal

12. REMOVE FUEL PIPE CLAMP See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Removal

13. DISCONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and
