Removal

2ZR-FE FUEL: FUEL INJECTOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

 See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings

2. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER See: Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

(a) Remove the No. 2 ventilation hose.

4. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE HARNESS

(a) Remove the 3 bolts, harness clamp and 4 fuel injector connectors and separate the engine wire harness.

5. REMOVE HARNESS BRACKET

(a) Disconnect the 5 wire harness clamps shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the 2 harness brackets.

6. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL VAPOR FEED HOSE
