Installation

SUSPENSION: FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the lower arm onto the crossmember and provisionally tighten the bolt.

2. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Cross-Member/Front Cross-Member/Service and

Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 

5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: The installation procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.

6. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

7. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: The installation procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.

8. INSTALL TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

9. INSTALL TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: The installation procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.

10. INSTALL NO. 1 STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Installation

11. INSTALL STEERING SLIDING YOKE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Installation

12. INSTALL COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Installation

13. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Manual Transaxle)

(a) Provisionally tighten the lower arm with the 2 bolts.
