U341E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL: REPLACEMENT

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID

(a) Remove the drain plug and gasket, and drain the ATF.
(b) Install a new gasket and the drain plug.

Torque: 49 Nm (500 kgf-cm, 36 ft-lbf)

3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
4. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB NUT See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

5. SEPARATE FRONT SPEED SENSOR See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

6. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

7. SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

8. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

9. SEPARATE FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the front transaxle case oil seal.

SST: 09308-00010

13. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the transaxle case oil seal.
