Gearbox: dismounting and assembling > < Mechanism for working the clutch: repair

–  Remove the cable for selection -A- and the cable for changing gears from the gearbox -B-, by levering with key.

  Note!
If necessary, dismount the air filter.

–  Dismount the cable holder from the gearbox -arrows-, if necessary, remove the flexible tube support from the clutch hydraulic system.

–  Remove the cover from the central console by carefully moving it forwards.

–  Turn the cover inside out and remove the handle from the gear stick, by loosening the clamp -arrow-.

–  Unthread the attachment nuts from the central console -arrows-.
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Appropriately attach the rear section of the exhaust pipe to prevent stresses and damage when dismounting the support brackets.
–  Dismount the two brackets located under the system of escape.
–  Remove the front part of the exhaust system, from behind the front pipe, and dismount it together with the catalyser (with the help of a 2nd mechanic) → Rep. Gr.26.
–  Dismount the front and rear heat insulation plate.
–  Remove the bolts -arrows- for attaching the protective box to the body.
–  Remove the protective box by pulling it downwards.
–  Extract the operating mechanism carefully, taking care not to damage any mechanical part or the body.
