Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Push rod -T20130-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Extractor kit -T20140-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  extractor kit -T20143-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Kit (case) -U 40200A-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Push rod -U 40204-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Kit (case) -U 40450A-, see equivalent → Anchor

–  Remove input shaft seal by levering with extractor -T20143/1-.
   
–  Fit seal flush with installation tool -T20130-

Extract the bearing socket for the control rod
–  Extract the bearing sockets using the adapter -T20140/14- and the pressure tool -T20129- .

Extract the bearing socket for the control rod
–  Use the correct diameter according to the diameter of the socket and insert to the limit.

Extract the point crown from the clutch housing
–  Extract the bearing sockets using the adapter -T20140/1- and the extractor kit -T20140-.
  Note
The point crown is damaged by removal and must always be replaced.
–  Extraction of the needle bearing.

Insert the point crown into the clutch housing
–  When inserting the thrust washer for the inverter shaft -B- must be fitted onto the points crown -A-.

Insert the reverse gear prong shaft into the clutch housing
