  Note
t  Fix gearbox to installation stand.
t  If the secondary shaft or tapered roller bearings are replaced, the secondary shaft must be adjusted. → Chapter
t  Whenever new meshes or a new secondary shaft are fitted consult the technical data .
t  Replace both conical roller bearings together.
   
1 - clutch housing
2 - Glass
q   0.65 mm thick
3 - Outer ring of roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
4 - Inner ring of roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
5 - Secondary shaft for 5th/6th and reverse gear
q   Adjustment → Chapter
6 - Synchronizer body for the reverse gear
q   Releasing → Fig.
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
7 - Circlip
8 - Connection guide for reverse gear
q   With synchronizing ring
9 - Bearing socket for the reverse gear mobile pinion

q   Release from above the reverse gear mobile pinion → Fig.
q   Installation position: the wide collar must point towards the reverse gear mobile pinion.
q   Insertion → Fig.

13 - Needle bearing for the 6th gear

15 - Synchromesh ring of 6th gear
q   Check for wear → Fig.
16 - Mobile sleeve/synchroniser body of the 5th and 6th gear
q   Release along with the 6th gear mobile pinion → Item after removing the securing ring → Fig.
q   Dismantling → Fig.
q   Assembling the mobile element/synchroniser body. → Fig. and → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
