Removing
Removing
–  Remove right drive shaft → Running gear, axles, steering - front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.40.
–  Remove front propshaft tube → .
–  Remove connector and sensor for speedometer from bevel box.
   
–  Remove pendulum support -1- by removing bolt -A- and nut -B-.
–  Remove flange shaft.
–  Always renew flange shaft circlip.

–  Clamp flange shaft in vice with protective jaw covers.
–  Use new circlip -A- to press old circlip out of groove in flange shaft.
Unbolting and bolting on front bevel box (can also be done with gearbox removed) → Chapter.

–  Remove bracket -A- for bevel box -arrows-.
–  Place oil pan under gearbox.
–  Remove bevel box/gearbox connecting bolts.
–  Pull off bevel box and remove.
