Removing and installing viscous coupling and pinion housing
1)  Adjustment work is required if these components are renewed, adjustment overview → Chapter.
1 - Oil seal
q   Levering out with screwdriver.
q   Always renewing.
2 - Centring nut, 160 Nm
q   Removing → Anchor.
q   Installing → Anchor.
q   Before screwing on to shaft bevel gear, moisten with locking fluid -D 000 600 A2-.
3 - Viscous coupling
q   Checking function → Chapter.
q   Store only in installation position.
4 - Pinion housing → Note
q   Removing → Anchor.
q   Pressing in → Anchor.
q   Repairing shaft bevel gear bearing → Chapter.
5 - Hexagon bolt, 25 Nm
6 - O-ring
q   Always renewing.
7 - Shim S3
q   Marking holes -arrows- point towards rear axle housing at top.
q   Noting thickness.
q   Adjustment overview → Chapter.
8 - Rear axle housing → Note
