Gearbox support: dismounting and assembly
Gearbox support: dismounting and assembly
Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hydraulic jack -SAT 1040-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removal:
–  Remove the cross member/bearing of the gearbox → front-wheel suspension; Rep. gr. 40

–  Unscrew gearbox mounting -arrows-.

Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Secure gearbox mounting to gearbox -arrows- (tightening torque: 23 Nm).
–  Install the cross member/bearing of the gearbox → front-wheel suspension; Rep. gr. 40
–  Align exhaust system without tension → Rep. gr.26
