Installing
Installing
Carry out installation in the reverse sequence, noting the following:
   
–  Install pipe/hose line in supports on flange of master brake cylinder -1- and on gearbox -2-.
Vehicles with turbo diesel engine
–  Install fuel filter -A- → Rep. Gr.20.
Continuation for all vehicles

When installing slave cylinder bleeder connection, observe the following:
l  Clip -B- is pulled out.
–  Insert pipe/hose line -A- into slave cylinder bleeder connection -C- to stop.
–  Only now can clip -B- be pushed in to stop -in direction of arrow-.

When installing master cylinder, observe the following:
l  Clip -A- is pulled out.
–  Push pipe/hose line -B- into master cylinder.
–  Only now can clip -A- be pushed into master cylinder to stop.

–  Remove hose clamp -3094- from supply hose -A-.
–  Install ABS hydraulic unit → ABS system; Rep. Gr.45.
–  Bleed clutch system after installing pipe/hose line → Chapter.
–  Install battery and battery holder → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27.
–  Bolt on coolant expansion tank.
–  Push connector onto coolant expansion tank.

–  Install battery trim -2-.
–  Install air duct trim -1--arrows-.
–  Connect earth strap to battery.

Note radio code for vehicles with coded radio.
