t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
  W00-0427
t  Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051-
t  Diagnosis lead, 3 m with voltage supply -VAS 5051/1- or diagnosis lead, 5 m without voltage supply -VAS 5051/3-
–  Connect vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051/- → Chapter.
–  Select “Running gear (Rep Gr 01; 40...49)” on display.
–  Select “Four-wheel drive with Haldex coupling” on display.
–  Select “01 - Self-diagnosis-capable system” on display.
–  Select “Four-wheel drive Haldex” on display.
–  Select “Electrical components” on display.
–  Select “Oil temperature” on display.
l  The oil temperature must be between 20 and 40 °C.
l  The oil temperature can be attained by running engine until warm.

–  Remove oil inspection plug -arrow-.
Oil level is correct when Haldex coupling is filled to lower edge, or at least to within about 3 mm of lower edge, of inspection hole.
–  Screw in oil plug -arrow- to specified torque → Item.
–  If oil level is not correct, change oil in Haldex coupling → Chapter.
