Needle bearing (polygonal) and right flanged shaft seal: Install
Needle bearing (polygonal) and right flanged shaft seal: Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
   
–  Moisten the seal -A- with gear oil
–  Insert the seal -A- in the groove -arrow- of the flanged shaft.
Check that the sealant is not deformed.
–  Remove the fastening tool -T10047- → Anchor.

–  When pressing, turn the axle -arrow- to avoid damaging the sliding surface of the bearing which is on the axle.
–  Fasten the needle bearings with a new safety washer.
–  Carefully insert the flanged shaft, turning it.
–  Fasten the flanged shaft with a bevelled bolt and tighten to the corresponding torque → Chapter.
–  Remove right hand half axle → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.40
–  Checking oil level in bevel box → Chapter.
