Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
  L00-10226
t  Tray -T20173-, see equivalent → Anchor
–  Place the vehicle on an elevator, so that it is horizontal.
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Remove centre sound insulation → Bodywork, exterior installation work; Rep. gr.50.
–  Place below the collecting tray -T20173-.

–  Using an Allen key, unscrew the bolt -arrow- for the oil filler plug and drain the gearbox oil.
–  Tighten oil filler plug -arrow- Tightening torque → Chapter
  E34-10102
–  Using an Allen key, unscrew the bolt -arrow- for the oil filler plug.
–  Fill with oil up to the lower border of the fill hole.
–  Screw in oil filler plug.
–  Start engine, engage a gear and allow gearbox to turn for approx. 2 minutes.
–  Stop engine and unscrew oil filler plug.
–  Fill with oil up to the lower border of the fill hole once again.
–  Tighten oil filler plug. Tightening torque → Item
–  Install centre sound insulation → Bodywork, exterior installation work; Rep. gr.50.
