t  Fixing gearbox to installation stand → Chapter.
t  Always consult technical data when installing new pinions .
t  Fit all of the input shaft bearings with gear oil.
   
1 - Circlip
2 - Gearbox casing
3 - Circlip
q   If the ball bearing → Item and the input shaft → Item are replaced then must be re-established → Fig.
4 - Ball socket
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
5 - 5th gear mesh
q   Releasing → Fig.
q   Fitting position: the groove -arrow- should point to the ball bearing → Item
q   Insertion → Fig.
6 - Input shaft
q   With pinion for 3rd/4th and 6th gear
7 - Cylindrical roller bearing
q   Circlip
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
q   Fitting position: the securing ring of the bearing should point towards the input shaft
8 - Clutch housing
