Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
  L00-10226
t  Spanner -T20118 -, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Socket, 17 mm
–  Place the vehicle on an elevator, so that it is horizontal.
–  Raise the vehicle.
–  Remove centre sound insulation → Bodywork, exterior installation work; Rep. gr.50 .
  W00-2400
–  Unscrew the bolt -arrow- for the oil filler hole.
l  Specification: Oil level up to lower edge of filler hole
–  Tighten oil filler plug to corresponding torque.
–  Add gear oil if necessary; specification → Chapter.
–  Tighten oil filler plug. Tightening torque → Item
When filled for the first time, ensure the following:
–  Fill with oil up to the lower border of the fill hole.
–  Screw in oil filler plug.
–  Start engine, engage a gear and allow gearbox to turn for approx. 2 minutes.
–  Stop engine and unscrew oil filler plug.
–  Fill with oil up to the lower border of the fill hole once again.
–  Tighten oil filler plug. Tightening torque → Item
