  Note
t  Fit the gearbox to the base -T20172/1- along with the tower -T20172/2- and the gear support -T20172/4A- → Chapter.
t  Whenever new gears or shafts are mounted, always consult the technical data → Chapter.
t  Lubricate the bearings, mobile gears and synchromesh rings of the secondary shaft with gear oil.
t  Do not mix up synchromesh rings. If re-using, allocate them to corresponding mobile pinion.

q   To house the seal for right hand flanged shaft

q   Screw with threaded element to secure the articulation flanges → Item

q   Install it behind the flanged shaft
15 - Thrust washer
q   Installation position: Tighten facing the spring, core towards the conical ring

q   With recess for the thrust washer
q   Installation position: conical side facing the differential casing

q   Keep the following in position: conical ring, shim and spring for flanged shaft when it is dismantled
18 - Set of thrust washers
q   Impregnate with gearbox oil before installation
