Shim calculation table
The specified bearing preload is obtained by adding a constant value for preload (0.25 mm) to the reading obtained.
Example:
   
Average value0.70 mm
+ Preload (constant value)0.25 mm
Thickness of shim =0.95 mm

–  Remove gearbox housing.
   
–  Remove the outer ring / conical roller bearing from the gearbox casing.
A - Counter-support, e.g. -Kukko 22/2-
B - Internal puller 46...58 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/7-
–  Determine part number of shim according to → Electronic parts catalogue „ETKA“.
–  Install shims of the calculated thickness, thickest shim first.
The following shims are available:

0,650,851,051,25
0,700,901,10 
0,750,951,15 
0,801,001,20 

If the size of the shim required is larger than those listed in the table, install two shims amounting to the correct value. Begin with the thickest shim.
The various thicknesses make it possible to achieve the exact shim thickness required.
   
–  Press the outer ring in again and screw on the gearbox housing with the respective tightening torque → Item and → Item.
