  Note
t  Heat tapered roller bearing inner race to 100° C before installing.
t  Replace both conical roller bearings together.
t  If tapered roller bearings, differential cage, gearbox housing or clutch housing is renewed, adjust differential → Chapter.

11 - Countersunk bolt, 33 Nm
q   Screw into threaded piece → Item

13 - Protective ring
q   Pry protective ring off flange shaft with a screwdriver, alternating sides → Item
q   Press on protective ring by hand as far as stop
q   Protective ring must engage in flange shaft
14 - Compression spring for flange shaft or stub shaft
q   Installed behind flange shaft or stub shaft
15 - Stop plate
q   Installation position: Shoulder towards spring, lugs (if provided) towards tapered ring
16 - Conical ring
q   Installation position: conical side facing the differential casing
17 - Circlip
q   Holds tapered ring, thrust washer and spring in position when flange shaft or stub shaft is removed
18 - Sun wheel

q   Pull out using an awl
