| From position „P“ and with the button pressed in, pull the selector lever back approximately 5 mm and hold in this position, without engaging „R“. |

| Release the selector lever. |
| The selector lever should return on its own to position „P“. |

| If so, adjust the selector lever → Chapter. |

| Place the selector lever in position „N“. |
| –
| From position „N“ and with the button pressed in, pull the selector lever back approximately 5 mm and hold in this position, without engaging „D“. |
| –
| Release the selector lever. |
| The selector lever should return on its own to position „N“. |
| –
| If so, adjust the selector lever → Chapter. |
| –
| From position „N“ and with the button pressed in, push the selector lever forwards approximately 5 mm and hold in this position, without engaging „R“. |
| –
| Release the selector lever. |
| The selector lever should return on its own to position „N“. |
| –
| If so, adjust the selector lever → Chapter. |
