Filling quantity

WARNING

Only the recommended gear oil should be used for semi-automatic gearbox 02E. Other oils may cause malfunctions or damage in the gearbox.

Gearbox capacity

Filling quantity	Dual clutch gearbox 02E
Initial filling in factory	6.9 l to 7.2 l depending on vehicle and date of gearbox construction
Change quantity → Remark	about 5.2 l
Change quantity, mechatronics only: Removing and installing (with gearbox installed)	3 - 4 litres
Lubricant	DSG® gearbox oil → Spare parts catalogue.

¹⁾	When replacing the gearbox oil, always change the gearbox oil filter as well.
