• ◆ VW 222 A Mandrel

• ◆ VW 228 B Puller

Removing

• ‒ Note or request radio code on vehicles with coded radio if necessary.
• ‒ Disconnect earth strap at battery.
• ‒ Remove starter.

=> Repair group 27; Removing and installing starter.

→ Remove starter bush.

Installing

→ Drive in starter bush.

• ‒ Lubricate bush mounting before driving in.
• ‒ Install starter.

=> Repair group 27; Removing and installing starter.

• ‒ Reconnect earth strap to battery.
