Fuel tank flap unit for LPG vehicles: Replace
Fuel tank flap unit for LPG vehicles: Replace
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Plunger Ø 14 mm.
–  Fuel tank flap unit - removal → Chapter.
   
–  Insert the fuel tank flap unit into the mount and screw in the bolts -2- by hand.
  Note
To enable the new opening to align with the LPG filling neck, the inside hole diameter -A- of the rubber lip must be aligned with the filling neck -3- without having to install it.

–  Using a waterproof pen -1-, apply a marking on the rubber lip in the area where the LPG filler neck protrudes.
–  Remove the new fuel tank flap unit.

–  Place the rubber lip on the work bench and stamp a hole using a Ø 14 mm plunger -1-.

–  Insert the fuel tank flap unit -1- into its mount and screw in the bolts -2-.
–  Insert the filler cap of the tank unit and the LPG filling neck.
