Front door window guide: Removing and installing
Front door window guide: Removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor.
Removing
–  Remove the window well seal outside → Chapter.
–  Remove the front door glass → Chapter.
–  Remove the bass speakers → Radio, telephone, navigation system; Rep. gr.91.
–  Separate the lower section of the window guide from the gap of the bass loudspeaker.
   
–  Pull out the retaining clip -2-.
–  Separate the window guide -1- from the door -3- by pulling evenly on the entire frame -arrow B-.
–  Remove the window guide -1- from its mount -arrow A-.
Fitting .
Fit in reverse order from removal, remembering the following:
  E64-10206
–  Attach the window guide -1-, starting with the end -arrow A-.
–  Attach the inner section of the window guide from the gap of the bass loudspeaker to the inner door flange.
–  Attach the retaining clip -2-.
–  Make sure that the entire surface of the window guide is correctly in place in the door flange.
Tightening torques → Chapter
  WARNING
Before mounting the door trims, the function of the components must be checked.
→ Chapter „Synchronisation and storage of window course“.
→ Chapter „Automatic raising or lowering: Commissioning“.
