Coil connector with slip ring: removing

–	Remove airbag unit (driver side) → Chapter.

–	Remove the steering wheel → Running gear; Rep. gr.48.

–	Pull steering column out and tilt downwards as far as it will go.

–	Remove TORX bolts -3- and -5- using special screwdriver -T 40056- as well as hexagon socket-head bolt -4-.

Tightening torque: 1 Nm

–	Separate upper trim -2- for steering column switch from lower trim -1- and remove both sections.

–	Disconnect plug -1-.

–	Carefully release fasteners -arrows- and detach return ring with slip ring from steering column switch.
