Removing and installing trim on sill side
Removing and installing trim on sill side
  Note
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side. Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
Removing
–  Remove backrest adjuster wheel → Chapter.
   
–  Pull height adjustment handle -1- upwards.
–  On the inside of the height adjustment handle, press the metal link of the retaining clip -2- in the direction of the door sill, using a small screwdriver.
–  Pull handle of adjusting lever -3- downwards.
  Note
For greater clarity, the retaining clip is shown removed in the illustration.
–  Remove retaining clip -1- from adjusting lever -3-.
  N72-10305
–  Remove the screw -1- (2 Nm).
–  Press clamping pin -2- inwards out of spreader clip -3-.
–  Remove spreader clip.
–  Detach trim -4- from mountings in seat frame and remove in direction of travel.

Installing
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
