  WARNING
When working on seats with side airbags, observe safety precautions → Chapter
  Note
When removal and installation the seats use gloves to avoid soiling the upholstery.
–  Switch off the ignition and all the electrical components.
–  Disconnect the vehicle battery → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove the front seat → Chapter.
   
–  Disconnect plug -1-.
–  Removing the trims → Chapter.
–  Partially remove the front seat back upholstery and padding → Chapter.
  Note
The upholstery only has to be pulled up to the head restraint. Do not remove the head restraint.

–  Loosen the heating element -1-.
