| Installing |
| – | Install front door trim → Chapter. |
| – | Before bolting on wing, apply a zinc intermediate layer -AKL 381 035 50- to bolted connection points in area where wheel housing contacts A-pillar. |
| – | Ensure that gaps are parallel and specified dimensions are maintained → Rep. gr.00. |
| – | Tighten bolts -1- to specified torque of 6 Nm. |
| – | Remove front door → Chapter |
| – | Seam -1- between wing -2- and A-pillar is to be sealed with adhesive sealant -D 511500 A2- and smoothed. |
| – | Paint structure on the adhesive sealant -D 511500 A2--1- must be restored according to specifications in the → Paint workshop manual. |
| – | Install front door trim → Chapter. |
| Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal |
