The automatic belt retractor has two locking functions.
  Note
The first locking function is triggered by pulling the belt quickly out of the belt retractor.
Static check
–  Pull the belt out with force.
t  If it does not lock, replace the complete seat belt with buckle
t  If there are faults on removal or return of the belt, then check whether the position of the inertia reel device has been modified
  Note
The second locking function is triggered by a change in vehicle speed (vehicle-dependent locking function).
Dynamic check
–  Fasten seat belt.
–  Accelerate to 20 km/h and brake hard with the foot brake.
t  If the seat belt does not lock when braking, the complete belt and buckle must be replaced
  WARNING
For safety reasons, this test should be carried out in a section where there is no traffic and there is no danger to other road users.
