Floor covering, commercial vehicles: Removing and installing. Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010- t  Floor covering, commercial vehicles: Removing → Anchor t  Floor covering, commercial vehicles: Fitting → Anchor Floor covering, commercial vehicles: Removing –  Remove front seats. → Chapter. –  Partition, top, commercial vehicles: removing → Chapter –  Partition, top, commercial vehicles: removing → Chapter Remove the brackets of the partition at the bottom. Proceed as follows:

–  Disconnect plug connectors -1- and -2- and -3- and remove airbag -4-. Repeat this procedure for removing all other bottom brackets. –  Remove the right and left hand heel cushion mouldings → Chapter. –  Remove centre console → Chapter. –  Unscrew and remove accelerator pedal stop.

–  Unscrew screws -1- and -3- and remove centre retainer -2-.

–  Remove intermediate elements for connecting duct to rear seats -1-.

–  Remove snap fastener -1- attached in area of pedals from carpeting (only on vehicle with left-hand steering). –  Remove carpeting from floor beginning at rear -2-.

–  Correctly remove insulating mat -1- Floor covering, commercial vehicles: Fitting Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:   Note Before replacing upper panelling on C-pillar, prepare new part in accordance with instructions below.

–  Make two cut-outs -1- in the floor covering -2- for taking on the rings -3-. –  Install the floor covering in the reverse order. Install the brackets of the partition at the bottom. Proceed as follows:

–  Mount the bottom brackets -4- to the bodywork anchorings. –  Mount the screws -1- with washer -2-. Hold bolt -1- with open end wrench and tighten nut -3- to 8 Nm.
