Protective mouldings of Cordoba Vario roof: replacing
  Note
If there are still protective mouldings on the roof of the vehicle, these should be used as guidance when fitting the new mouldings.
1 - Protective moulding
q   Auto-adhesive
q   Removing:
–  Before dismounting the protective moulding, heat using the electric blower -SAT 1416- and remove from the roof.
q   Installation:
–  Clean the sticking surface of the outside plate with benzine, apply silicon solvent and dry.
–  Mark the position of the protective mouldings on the vehicle.
–  Remove the protective sheet, fit the protective moulding and press hard. Working temperature approx. 40° C.
2 - Roof edging
q   Removing and fitting: → Chapter

Measurements:
The protective mouldings touch the foot of the roof aerial at the rear.
The measurement -d- (distance between the rear edge of the roof and the end of the protective moulding) is 155 mm for all the mouldings.
If only one protective moulding is replaced the new moulding must be positioned using the adjacent mouldings as reference.
The measurement -a- (distance between the protective mouldings) is obtained from the dimension -b- (distance between the left and right roof edgings) and the dimension -c- (width of the protective mouldings).
The measurement -a- of the front and rear section must be calculated.
Example:
   
b = 950 mm
c = 32.5 mm
a = (b - 4c) : 5
a = (950 mm - 130 mm) : 5
a = 164 mm
