    • ◆ Check heater element voltage supply between contacts 1 and 2 with ignition switched on:
          Specification: At least 11.5 V
  • 10 Nm

Heater element N79 has a resistance of
    Specification: 7...12 ω
at an ambient temperature of about 25 °C.

When checking voltage supply:

  • ‒ Mark connector -1- (danger of interchanging).
  • ‒ Pull off 2-pin connector and take measurement with ignition switched on at connector contacts 1 + 2.
        Specification: at least 11.5 V

If the specification is obtained:

  • ‒ Check wiring from contact 1 to fuel pump relay (J17) according to current flow diagram.
