Rear final group oil level: check and add oil
Rear final group oil level: check and add oil
Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor
Prior condition:
l  The final group should be in its original installation position.
Rear final group oil specification → Parts catalogue.

–  Unscrew the oil level test bolt for gears -arrow-.
The oil level is correct if the oil level in the rear final group reaches the lower edge of the filling hole.
–  If necessary, fill with oil up to the lower edge of the fill hole.
–  Install the bolt -arrow- and tighten to a torque of 40 Nm.
