To remove and fit the pulley version “2”
Removing

–  Remove the circlip -A- for example, carefully using a small screwdriver or a large nose pliers (take special care not to damage the pulley).
–  Secure the compressor axle -B- using a hexagonal spanner to rotate the drive plate bolt -C- with the pulley -D- in -the direction of the arrow--E- (torque 35 Nm).
–  Remove the drive plate -C-.
  E87-10004
–  Remove circlip -A-.
–  Remove the pulley -B-.
Installing
  Note!
t  Replace the circlip -A-.
t  Clean the compressor bracket before fitting the pulley.
  E87-10005
t  Take special care when fitting the circlip -A- that it is not bent any more than is necessary for fitting.
–  Fit the pulley -B-.
–  Fit the circlip -A- on the correct side, the side with the insertion rebate -C- should be on the side facing away from the compressor (the flat side faces the compressor).
–  Fit the rubber buffer elements -D- as shown in the diagram to the pulley -B-.
–  Damp the rubber buffer elements -D- slightly for fitting, for example using a wheel fitting paste or even a soap solution (lubrication for fitting).
  Note!
The rubber buffer elements must be fitted to the pulley in such a way that the arrow points to the exterior.
  E87-10005
–  Fit the drive plate -C- onto the rubber buffer elements -D- (refer to the figure E87–10005), to the plate is at the same level as the compressor axle -B-.
  E87-10004
–  Screw the bolt in for the drive plate -C- rotating it in -the direction of the arrow--F- onto the compressor axle -B-.
–  Tighten the bolt for the drive plate -C- in -the direction of the arrow--F- to a torque of 35 Nm while retaining the compressor axle -B- using a normal* hexagonal spanner.
–  Replace the circlip -A-.
