Coolant hose routing on vehicles with 2nd heat exchanger
  WARNING
There is a risk of burns.
When the engine is warm, the coolant temperature may exceed 100° C. The cooling system is pressurised.
Where necessary, reduce pressure and temperature before commencing repair work.
   
1 - Incoming flow - from valve for deactivating heat exchanger 2 -N317- to the 2nd heat exchanger.
  Note
During auxiliary heating mode, the valve for deactivating heat exchanger 2 -N317- is in the closed position at first. The valve for deactivating heat exchanger 2 -N317- is then opened after a short delay.
2 - Return flow - from 2nd heat exchanger to heater coolant shut-off valve -N279-
