Rules for cleanliness when working on the auxiliary heater and the fuel system |

| Thoroughly clean all joints and connections and the surrounding areas before dismantling. |

| Place parts that have been removed on a clean surface (use sheeting or paper, but not fluffy cloths) and cover. |

| If the repair is not carried out immediately, cover or seal the components. |

| Only fit clean components: |

| Only remove genuine service parts from their packages immediately before installing them. |

| Do not use components which have been stored unpacked (e.g. in a toolbox). |

| If the fuel system is open: |

| Do not work with compressed air. |
–
| Do not move the vehicle. |
–
| Do not start the engine. |
–
| Do not switch on supplementary heater. |
