  Note!
Whenever new pinions or gearbox shaft parts are fitted, it is necessary to consult the section Distinctive lettering, group correspondence, demultiplications, filling quantities → Chapter.
1 - Hexagonal nut, 60 Nm
q   Must always be replaced when removed
q   Follow the corresponding fitting sequence to loosen or tighten the hexagonal nut → Chapter
2 - Sliding pinion for the 5th gear
3 - Gearbox housing
4 - Ball bearing
q   Removing → Fig.
q   Fitting → Fig.
5 - Pinion for the 4th gear
q   Remove together with the grooved ball bearing → Fig.
q   Fitting → Fig.
6 - Pinion for the 3rd gear
q   Removing → Fig.
q   Fitting → Fig.
7 - Primary shaft
8 - Cylindrical roller bearing
q   Removing → Fig.
q   Fitting → Fig.
q   Fitting position: the bearing identification must face upwards → Fig.
9 - Clutch housing
10 - Washer
11 - Hexagonal bolt, 10 Nm

   
Extracting the ball bearing together with the pinion for the 4th gear
Push using the tool -U-10050A- (H centring tool). Fit the tool -U-40100/4- under the pinion of the 4th gear.

Fitting position:
The interior collar lies facing the 3rd gear.

Fit the tool -U-40100/4- below the pinion of the 3rd gear.
