Checking gearbox oil level
Oil specification for gears → Chapter. Identification of the gearbox; Code letters, assignement of groups, ratios, filling amounts.
–  Remove the insulation tray: → General Body Repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.50.
   
–  Loosen oil level control bolt -arrow-.
Oil level is correct when the the oil reaches the bottom edge of filling hole.
–  Tighten the gearbox oil level control cap -arrow- to a torque of 25 Nm.
To fill the reservoir completely with new oil
–  Unscrew the oil level cap and top up to the lower edge of the filling orifice.
–  Screw in the cap and start the engine, let the gearbox run approx. 2 minutes with a gear selected.
–  Stop the engine, remove oil cap and check level again, top up if necessary.
–  Tighten the gearbox oil level control cap arrow to a torque of 25 Nm.
