t  Remove gearbox → Chapter.
t  Mount gearbox on assembly stand → Chapter.
   
1 - Gearbox
q   For replacement, consult the adjustment chart
2 - Needle bearing
q   For output shaft
q   Removal:
q   Installation
3 - Filler plug
q   35 Nm
q   The oil level cannot be checked by removing the oil filler plug
q   If the gearbox was dismantled, it must be filled prior to installation
q   Capacity of manual gearbox (gearbox completely dismantled)
t  1.9 litres
q   Capacity of manual gearbox (gearbox partially dismantled) → Chapter
t  1.7 litres
4 - Outer track, roller bearing
q   For output shaft
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   In case of replacement: Secondary shaft: adjustment → Chapter
5 - Shim
q   For output shaft
q   For replacement, consult the adjustment chart
6 - Shim
q   For input shaft
q   For replacement, consult the adjustment chart
7 - Outer track, roller bearing
q   For input shaft
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   If replaced, adjust the input shaft → Chapter
8 - Outer track, roller bearing
q   For input shaft
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   If replaced, adjust the input shaft → Chapter
9 - Axial/radial needle bearing
q   For reverse gear shaft:
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
10 - Dowel pegs
q   2 off
11 - clutch housing
q   For replacement, consult the adjustment chart
12 - Ball head stud
q   25 Nm
q   Apply lubricating grease → Electronic spare parts catalogue (ETKA).
13 - Guide sleeve
q   With input shaft oil seal and vulcanised O-ring
q   Remove oil seal
q   Fit oil seal
q   The guide bush must be removed to replace the input shaft oil seal
q   Replace the guide bush and the O-ring together if the latter is damaged
14 - Bolt.
q   20 Nm
q   Always replace.
15 - Seal
q   For flange shaft, right
q   replace with gearbox installed → Chapter
16 - Thrust piece
q   For articulation flange oil seal, right → Item
q   Removing → Fig.
q   Fitting → Fig.
17 - Oil change cap
q   35 Nm
q   Without magnet
18 - Outer track, roller bearing
q   For differential
q   Removing and installing
q   If replaced, adjust the differential
19 - Magnet
q   It is supported between the gearbox casing and the clutch housing
20 - Outer track, roller bearing
q   For differential
q   Removing and installing
q   If replaced, adjust the differential
21 - Shim
q   For differential
q   Determine thickness
22 - Seal
q   For flange shaft (left-side)
q   Replacement with gearbox installed
