Calculating the shims
The thickness of the shim to be fitted is determined by adding the thickness of the plate spring, the reading obtained with the dial gauge and deducting the set pretension value of the roller bearings.
Example
   
Thickness of plate spring1,50 mm
Reading obtained with the dial gauge1,00 mm
Bearing pretension- 0,18 mm
Thickness of shim2,32 mm

The shim needing is determined by the table → Chapter.
–  Remove securing bolt.
–  Place the shim with the calculated thickness (in this case, 2.32 mm) on the satellite carrier shaft.
   
–  Fit the axial needle bearing.
Assembly position:
The flat side should face the drive sprocket.
–  Fit the securing bolt.
–  Connect the parking lock.
–  Use the torque spanner -SAT 8010- and tool -U-30031- engaged in a 22 mm e/c socket spanner.
Tightening torque: 250 Nm
