Coolant: draining and filling > < Removing and installing cooling system parts

Steam can be released when removing the cap from the expansion tank. Cover cap with a cloth and open carefully.
Before draining the coolant, the lower protection must be separated from the engine asembly.
–  Remove the expansion tank cover.
   
–  Remove the safety clip -3- and detach the sleeve -2- from the thermostat flange -4-.
–  Remove the hose -1-.
