| 3 - | 14 Nm and then turn 180° further |
| q | Tighten in several stages. |

| 5 - | Balance shaft assembly with oil pump |
| q | Before installing, check if the adjustment sleeve is centred relative to the cylinder block and if the O-ring is fitted on the bearing cap module. |

| q | Check for tight fit; is mounted on the bearing cap module |
| q | Oil lightly when fitting |

| q | removing and fitting → Chapter |
| 10 - | 8 Nm and then turn 90° further |
