Camshaft housing: fitting |

| Pistons must not be at TDC. |
Note On turning the camshafts, the valves may hit the pistons if they are at TDC. |

| Remove sealant remains on cylinder head and camshaft housing with a standard sealant removal or a flat scraper. |

| Prevent dirt and sealant remains from entering the cylinder block. |

| Clean contact surfaces, which should be free of oil and grease. |
–
| Apply a thin even coat of sealant onto the clean camshaft housing sealing surface. |
Note The sealant must not be applied too thickly otherwise excess sealant could enter the oil channels and cause damage to the engine. |

| Ensure all roller rocker fingers contact the valve ends and are clipped into their respective support elements. |

| Carefully fit the camshaft housing vertically from above onto the cylinder head studs. |
–
| Tighten evenly the new fastening bolts of the camshaft housing. Take care not to tilt the camshaft bearing caps. |

| Tightening torque: 10 Nm + 1/4 turn (90º) |
Note Sealant must be left dry for approx. 30 minutes after installing camshaft housing. |
Continue installation following reverse order for removing. |
