1 - 20 Nm
2 - Pulley
q   For coolant pump
3 - Cover
4 - Tensioning element
5 - 20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
6 - Alternator
7 - Idler roller
8 - Washer
9 - Pulley
q   For crankshaft
10 - 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
  WARNING
For safety reasons the fastening bolt of the crankshaft pulley must not be loosened or tightened with a pneumatic tool, as vibrations from the tool could provoke the displacement of the crankshaft gear and release it from the pin. This would cause major damage on starting the engine.
q   replace
q   Lubricate before fitting
q   Secure pulley with retaining tool -T20018B-
q   (Further turning can be performed in several stages)
q   The angle of re-tightening may be measured with a protractor, for example measuring tool -T20030-
11 - Guide sleeve
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Guide sleeve
14 - Spacer bush
15 - Poly-V belt
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Routing of poly V-belt → Anchor
